Here is another example of the need to shift our current transit paradigm. More on Personal Rapid Transit, this time in Los Angeles. A consortium of design and transit people (Southern California Institute of Architecture [SCI-Arc], The Architect’s Newspaper and LA Metro in LA) have recently addressed the challenge.
“That’s the crux of our idea: leveraging existing data streams to optimize the public transit system”
NOTE: I am keeping this post in tact to preserve the comments. Please note that we are no longer accepting submissions at this time.
Your submissions are astounding! We’ve received so many from so many different countries I’ve had to assemble a team of wonderful volunteers to help us in processing them. Not only is the response so overwhelming, but the vibration is raising tenfold from each and every one of you as you think about solutions. I don’t want to cut off this incredible energy just because of a deadline. Please continue to contribute your ideas in the submission form even after the deadline. We are currently processing them and entering them into a qualitative analysis system to create the presentation. I have faith in this process and our team, we will figure out how to incorporate all of your submissions regardless of when they are sent. Keep the…

An introduction to Charles Eisenstein and his work Sacred Economics – excerpt from http://sacred-economics.com/about-the-author/
Charles Eisenstein is a teacher, speaker, and writer focusing on themes of civilization, consciousness, money, and human cultural evolution.
His on-line writings have generated a vast following; he speaks frequently at conferences and other events, and gives numerous interviews on radio and podcasts. Writing in Ode magazine’s “25 Intelligent Optimists” issue, David Korten (author of When Corporations Rule the World) called Eisenstein “one of the up-and-coming great minds of our time.”
Stirling Allan of Pesn.com interviewed MT Keshe and Konstantin Meyl following their September 21 presentation. The Keshe Foundation will be delivering its preordered 5kw energy devices in December. Also, a demo of the gravity-modification technology is scheduled for Dec. 14. with three U.S. astronauts from Moon missions expected to attend.
Yes, likely we are still dealing with the vestiges of old paradigm thinking – for a little while anyway. So what happens when you can pour out the cornucopia of plenty to your heart’s content and possible demise.
I am going to make a really big assumption here. I am going to assume those providing us with the replicator technology also imbued them with Artificial Intelligence. That AI would be able to determine if use is abuse or not. Now that would be something. So no heroin, no cocaine, no excessive alcohol or other substances that could be abused. I could just imagine one of these refusing a request for more chocolate with the message “sorry you weigh 300 pounds and have a heart condition – I ain’t gonna do it!”
The current paradigm for energy is large centralised power production facilities connected to a large grid network. Power is literally pumped via the line network to the consumer from these facilities.
In a new paradigm a possible ideal model would be a highly distributed network with power production located in a little black box sited at the consumption point – e.g. little black boxes plugged into the home.
As I mentioned in our Goal 1 contingencies and assumptions, we are assuming we have both the free energy and replicator prototypes ready to go. No more development required other than future enhancements.
We lived in what was formerly a poor suburban environment. We had never been able to afford to buy a house since our income had been so low. Often we had no income. Our enlightened government had allocated land for housing people like us. The land was made available from farm land donated as no longer required for food production. Since we got the replicators we didn’t need to disturb the land for food production. The land was able to recover really fast.
Our government did not receive taxes any more. All their workers are volunteers since they no longer need income to live. All public services are provided free. Some money is used for payment of private contracted services but not much. This is because there is such an abundance of available skill and so not many require actual money payment. Nobody needs to spend like we used to.
The government also passed laws that allowed creative commons rights to reproduction or replication of any products or works provided authorship was attributed.
Sending out the call
I have been asked to come up with tangible solutions to help transition our world from the systems we have in place now to the systems we will have in place in the Golden Age. As we are all connected, despite our perceived differences, it would be foolish for me to think that I can undertake such a colossal task on my own. THIS IS AN OFFICIAL CALL OUR FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE. Humanity needs your help. This is your window of opportunity to contribute to the co-creation of our collective future. Please act now! This call is very real, very serious and incredibly important. Think of it in this way: What if the leaders or your country actually came to you with the problems we were all facing, and asked you to come up with a solution that they would actually implement? This may be hard…

This may be hard to imagine as it has been so long since our voices have been heard and taken seriously.
